Hollywood actor Ezra Miller is facing legal action from the parents of an 18-year-old, accusing him of grooming their child with behavior described as “cult-like” and “psychologically manipulative.”
According to court documents filed in Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Court, parents activist Chase Iron Eyes and pediatrician Sara Jumping Eagle claim that Miller, 29, used tactics such as violence, intimidation, and drugs to exert control over their adolescent child, Tokata Iron Eyes.
The parents allege that Miller first met their child when they were 12 years old and later flew them to London in 2017 while filming “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” They expressed concerns about Miller providing alcohol and drugs, including marijuana and LSD, to their child.
Despite the allegations, Tokata defended Miller on social media, stating that the claims made by their family and friends were “tragic” and emphasizing the actor’s support during a period of loss.
Furthermore, the parents claimed in court documents that Miller influenced their child to identify as non-binary transgender, despite previously identifying as “non-binary, queer, gay.”
“I am an adult and I deserve to feel authority in my own body. It is no one’s business, my choices are my own, and as to the nature of police intervention in my ‘case’ it is unnecessary and it is a waste of time and resource,”
Notably, Miller has faced legal issues in the past, including an arrest for disorderly conduct in March, as well as allegations of violent behavior and numerous 911 calls in Hawaii.
