Alex Iwobi Aims to Replicate Okocha’s Legacy at Craven Cottage

Alex Iwobi has expressed his desire to create lasting memories at Craven Cottage, just like his uncle Austine Jay Jay Okocha did.

On transfer deadline day, Iwobi joined Fulham from Everton.

Fulham will be Iwobi’s third Premier League club, following his significant spell at Arsenal.

Having graduated from the Arsenal Academy to the main team, the 27-year-old midfielder later moved to Everton in 2019.

His uncle, Okocha, became a well-known figure in the Premier League during the early 2000s, thanks to his successful tenure at Bolton Wanderers.

During his time at Bolton, Okocha played four matches at Craven Cottage.

Iwobi now aims to follow in his footsteps by performing admirably at the same stadium.

Iwobi expressed his sentiments to Fulham TV, saying, “I’ve had the pleasure of watching him play several times at Craven Cottage, so I hold great memories of that place. Hopefully, I can add more memorable moments by playing there myself.”
