Actress Natalie Portman to file for divorce from estranged husband Benjamin Millepied

Heading: Natalie Portman Set to File for Divorce from Estranged Husband Benjamin Millepied

Reports indicate that Israeli-American actress Natalie Portman is preparing to end her 11-year marriage with Benjamin Millepied, who faced allegations of cheating with a climate activist 21 years his junior.

News of the impending divorce comes after the 42-year-old actress, known for her role in Black Swan, omitted any mention of her husband during an interview with WSJ Magazine, where she revealed that she resides in Paris with their two children.

The decision follows her attendance at the Golden Globes without her wedding ring and indicates that she is taking time to ‘process and heal’ before officially filing, given the well-being of their children Aleph, 12, and daughter Amalia, six.

An insider revealed, ‘Natalie and Benjamin tried to make it work but she simply could not get past his cheating on her.’ Additionally, the source mentioned that although divorce procedures are underway, no official filing has taken place as of yet, with Natalie living in Paris, while Benjamin continues working in the US.

Emphasizing their commitment to their children, the insider added, ‘They are figuring out what is best for their children, as they both have so much love for them and are great parents.’

Concerns about her husband’s infidelity arose last year when French outlet Voici reported an affair between Benjamin and 25-year-old climate activist Camille Étienne. People magazine also mentioned that Benjamin was making efforts to seek forgiveness and salvage their family.

‘He knows he made an enormous mistake and he is doing all he can to get Natalie to forgive him and keep their family together,’ a source told the publication.

‘Natalie is incredibly private and has no intention of playing this out in the media. Her biggest priority is protecting her children and their privacy.’
