Sharing new photos on her Instagram page, Mosun gives thanks to Him for the gift of life.
She expresses her appreciation for another beautiful year, as well as for all the abundance and small things in her life.
Mosun also acknowledges that His mercy has been her foundation, and she expresses her unending gratitude.

Mosun Filani declares her comeback to Nollywood
A few months ago, Mosun Filani, who had taken a break from the film industry, made an announcement that she is returning after being off-screen for years.
The wife and mother posted on her Instagram page, confirming that she is back in Nollywood and ready to pursue her career.
Encouraging scriptwriters, producers, and directors to send her scripts, she emphasizes that there is a time and season for everything.
“There is a time and season for everything in life.
I am back and ready. Send your script! Let’s go!”
Mosun Filani bids farewell to Nollywood
It should be noted that Mosun quit acting after getting married to her husband, Kayode Oduoye, a politician and the son of the late Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Simeon Oduoye.
As the wife of a politician, she had to maintain a certain lifestyle, which did not include acting.
Furthermore, her husband’s plan to represent Ifelodun, Boripe, and Odun-Otin Federal Constituency of Osun State in the House of Representatives was already set in motion in 2015. In addition, the possibility of relocating to Abuja with her husband put an end to any ambitions she had for her acting career.
Unfortunately, Mosun’s husband lost in the elections. Shortly after, Sir Kay, as he is affectionately called, decided to test the waters again by expressing his interest in governing Osun State in 2018 under the Peoples Democratic Party. At this point, Mosun had already imagined herself as the first lady of the state and was preparing to fulfill that role. Once again, her dreams did not come true. So, she decided to focus on her beauty business and take care of her family.
Mosun Filani speaks up about leaving Nollywood
Speaking out, Mosun Filani revealed that she took a break from Nollywood to prioritize her family and children.
In her own words;
“I took some time off from movies; there is a time and season for everything, (I did it) to focus on my family. My children are still young, and I don’t want to leave them in the hands of a nanny. My husband is a very busy person due to his career. There is a need for someone to take care of the home front.
“When they (my children) are older and can take care of themselves, then I am good to go. Acting takes me away from home; sometimes I have to travel.
It is really demanding. I am not an extrovert. When I am not on set, I am an introvert. I don’t enjoy going out; I prefer staying indoors.”
